A salt mine is a man-made salt room in which the microclimate of natural salt caves is recreated, which has a healing effect on human health.

The effect of speleotherapy is achieved thanks to the emerging microclimate of the salt room and the optimal amount of negative air ions contained in its air.

There is an aerosol apparatus is used for speleotherapy in our sanatorium. This device provides the production and spraying of aerosol to reproduce the natural, therapeutic aerosol-air environment of salt caves.

Speleotherapy method allows people effectively clean out respiratory system from dust and microbial pollution, restore the normal microflora of the respiratory tract, enhance blood oxygen saturation, reduce allergic reactions of the organism – thereby creating a reliable “shield” from viral, bacterial infections and allergens.
